The design of the Brasero Saturn is shaped like a cup on a corten steel base.The base of the Brasero Saturn Small has a height of 15cm.

The circular cooking plate is made of ground steel and has a thickness of 10mm. The plate is available in the following 4 diameters: 60cm, 80cm, 100cm and 120cm.

By making a wood or coal fire in the center of the brasero, the plate heats from the center to the outside.
Cooking temperatures are higher the closer the food is to the inside and gradually decreases towards the outer edges, so that a variety of foods can be cooked at different temperatures at the same time.

The base of the Saturn brasero is used to store logs.

With air vent to better control the fire power and adjust the cooking temperature.

The Saturn Simogas brasero can also be used outdoors as a heat source creating a “around the fire” atmosphere.

Corten steel is a steel that resists well to strong temperature variations and corrosion. Indeed, Corten steel oxidizes on the surface and it is this first oxide layer that prevents any further deterioration caused by corrosion. The Saturn Brasero can be left outside all year round without the need for protection.

Cleaning and maintenance:

  • Cleaning the plate is quick and easy: pour a glass of water or ice cubes (de-icing) on the still hot plate and scrape with a spatula to remove the residue. Do not hesitate to rub well. IMPORTANT: Once the plate has cooled, always oil (edible oil of your choice) the plate, after each use, so that it doesn`t rust. We advise you not to use vinegar or other acidic products on your plancha plate.
  • The corten steel cup and base is maintenance-free.
